Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Launches Lifestyle Search
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC has unveiled Lifestyle Search, powered by Onboard Informatics, on their website this week. Accessible on their homepage, Lifestyle Search facilitates the quest for an ideal neighborhood by allowing their clients to conduct a simple community search where prospective homebuyers can identify their lifestyle preferences such as “Family Friendly Community” or “Public Transportation.” Once ideal neighborhoods are identified, the homebuyer can then view homes in that area.
Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC stated, “While the relation of price to features has become very favorable in many areas throughout the country, ultimately the surrounding community may determine how happy you are with your home purchase.”
After much research and observation, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate recognized the launch of lifestyle search as vital to meet and embrace their clients’ desires. According to their recent survey conducted in collaboration with leading media and marketing company, Meredith Corporation, “One in five U.S. homeowners have either moved from their home or would like to move because their neighborhood or community wasn’t ideal for their lifestyle.”
The online survey, conducted in late April this year, received 1,085 responses, in which approximately 84% of survey participants identified themselves as homeowners and an additional 10% noted that they will purchase a home within the next 3 years.
Sherry added, “Our agents look to satisfy the aspirations of their clients by expanding beyond curb appeal to encompass lifestyle appeal. Our service philosophy extends beyond finding our clients their ideal homes. As the real estate industry’s premier lifestyle brand, we are dedicated to finding our consumers the right communities, which in turn enable them to lead happier, more fulfilling lives. Our new, comprehensive Lifestyle Search tool is an extension of that service philosophy. We believe that this holistic, lifestyle approach will be the preferred way to search for a home into the future.”
The survey respondents emphasized the use of the lifestyle criteria in future home searches, preferring family-friendly neighborhoods and easy accessibility to cultural activities such as museums and music venues. Current homeowners surveyed indicated that their top three priorities in the hunt for their next home were the ease of commuting by car, access to health and safety services, and a family-friendly neighborhood.
Here are the other rankings of the respondents:
Matt Cohen, an influential real estate industry expert, remarked on Better Homes and Garden’s launch and stated that it is one of the best executions that he has seen. Matt added, “The lifestyle/community search is well designed – focusing on key lifestyle features…Overall, this is easily the best implemented lifestyle search to date. Kudos to Better Homes and Gardens and Onboard Informatics!”
In addition, Melissa Tracey from REALTOR Magazine provided an overview of this launch and stated, “If you want to make a sale, selling the lifestyle in a community or neighborhood is becoming an important piece of the presentation of a home…” Click here to read more.

These results are exactly why Country Club Lifestyle Realty was created. Our knowledge of clubs and social life in Houston, Texas is here to clients and potential clients. There is no way a potential buyer can learn about all the clubs, the leagues, and the social life in Houston by themselves so we have lived and researched the information and can bring it to clients directly. Schools are clearly important but so is lifestyle.

Many facts were truly established in the site. Many clients would want their homes at the very best conditions. And not just that, they would want it to be very affordable and has a real sense of approach, as a client of mine from Fort Collins homes for sale is saying.

Homebuyers would indeed really consider houses which are near facilities and establishments such as schools, grocery, and the like, and not to mention a peaceful and friendly neighborhood. Buying a house is an investment and nobody would want to leave or look for another if they have already felt at home.
